A morning at the Track

After riding for nearly 14 year I finally got to ride a bike on some boards. The Mattamy National Cycling Centre is located in Milton Ontario. It is Canadas newest velodrome that was build for the 2015 Pan Am Games that were held in Toronto and is the new Home of Canadian Cycling.

This was a short "try the track" session. After some great instruction from Scott we were ready to hit the track after about 40min. One thing I immediately noticed was how dry the air was inside the Velodrome. After a quick conversation with Scott it turns out that the air so so dry for a purpose, go faster on a bike. This was certainly something that I enjoyed immensely and I'm definitely considering getting certified do do a little bit of racing on the track for the next season.

Here are a couple of images that I walked away with from that morning.
